Breakfast - served in the pretty conservatory - is a speciality at Rosemary House. We want to set you up for your day, whether you're working or out sightseeing. All our food is as organic and locally-sourced as we can possibly make it, including eggs laid by our very free-ranging hens, and meat from the award-winning Fulbourn butcher. Breakfast is a moveable feast - your choice, and your time. Well, any time up till 10.30 am please .... Let Susy know if you need a very early breakfast, or she'll have a lie-in ... You can choose from the good old Full English Breakfast, or a Vegetarian Breakfast, or the Continental option - or anything in between! Just tell Susy the night before what you'd like. Here's a typical sample of what we're likely to serve - though it can change, depending on what's available - or what we think you might fancy:
Full English - Free-range eggs, bacon, Fulbourn pork sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried potato slices, quality baked beans. Vegetarian - Swap the pork sausages for vegetarian sausages - typically cheese and sun-dried tomato, but this might vary according to availability. We don't usually use 'bacon' substitutes, but are happy to do so. Continental - selection of deli meats and cheeses, Danish pastries, bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese, fresh fruit. And don't forget that special treat for special occasions - a glass or two of bubbly Buck's Fizz! Please order in advance - affordable and fun! DINNER I can book evening meals at two very welcoming pubs in Fulbourn - the pretty thatched Six Bells pub in the High St, and The White Hart, which serves excellent food and wine, a short walk away. |
